Spring 2021 Recruiting Season

Thank you for your interest in Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering!  The Fulton Schools Career Center is here to help boost your brand and spread the word about your opportunities to our students and alumni. Below are the various ways you can connect, recruit and engage with our students.

Recruit

1. ASU Handshake employer account
Creating a Handshake account allows you to post jobs, request an event and register for upcoming career fairs. It’s the #1 way to get connected to our Fulton students! (FREE)

2. Post jobs in Handshake
Posting job opportunities in Handshake allows you to identify, engage and select quality Fulton students to fill your open positions. (FREE)

3. Host your own event
Showcase your organization and network with Fulton students in many ways. Virtual Info Sessions and Chats, Webinars or in-person, Meet and Greets can be scheduled through Handshake. Give us your advertising and we will share with targeted students. For in-person events, there is no charge for the room use but sponsoring refreshments is highly suggested. (FREE-$300, based upon marketing request)

4. Virtual or on-campus interviews
Reserve one or more of our interview spaces for virtual or in-person interviews. We can help you facilitate either. Rooms are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Schedule virtual or on-campus interviews through Handshake. ($150 for physical interview space)

5. Table in Fulton Student Areas
Reserve a table in areas central to Fulton engineering to meet students. Reservation requests must be made through Handshake. (FREE-$300, based upon marketing request)

7. Attend a Fulton Schools Online Career Fair
Attending a virtual career fair is an excellent opportunity to connect with engineering candidates while also increasing your organization’s brand. Registrants receive a virtual booth on the CareerEco platform which contains an employer profile page, group session room, two chat rooms and resume access of participating students. Registration opens in Handshake December 1.  ($650-$1000, additional sponsorship opportunities are available) Save the date for these upcoming events!

Mentorship and Early Pipeline Engagement

7. Volunteer your time
Provide guidance and real-world examples to our students through resume reviews, workshop presentations or by attending professional development events. These events may be virtual or in-person. (FREE)

8. E2 Camp, Summer 2021
Get to know our incoming engineering students!  E2 camp is the perfect vehicle for early pipeline engagement.  Introduce yourself and your company by meeting and mentoring students through employer panels and online “fireside” chats. (FREE- additional sponsorship opportunities are available)

9. Attend Career Exploration Night
Inspire students by sharing your journey. Industry professionals with formal education in aviation, engineering, technology, computer science, construction management or any related technical discipline, are invited to share their knowledge and experience with Fulton freshmen.  Help students envision a path from first year college student to student professional to professional! (FREE)

 

Branding and Sponsorship

10. Sponsor your own Event
We offer the opportunity for your organization to sponsor career fairs, industry days and career education events to enhance your recruitment efforts and brand recognition on campus. Your event will include high profile marketing by the Fulton Schools Career Center and a Fulton student resume book based on major. ($)

11. Host your own “Fulton Speaker Series” Virtual Info Session or Webinar
Showcase your organization and network to Fulton students. Your 15-minute video will live on the Fulton Schools Career Center web page for the academic year and available to all students. All Fulton Speaker Series and include a targeted marketing campaign to all Fulton online and in-person students.  ($1000)

12. Become a Corporate Affiliate Partner (CAP)
The CAP program provides industry access and specialized connections with ASU’s Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering.  The Fulton Schools Career Center helps to foster contact with students and alumni, support industry/academia collaboration, and raise branding profiles.  Supported by corporate membership fees, the CAP program provides industry-funding for student career development programs while increasing a company’s access and visibility to Fulton students. Recruiter Workshop and Input

12. Fulton Recruitment Coffee Chats
Get to Know Fulton Schools by attending monthly one-hour events which introduce employers to the Fulton Schools Career Center and best practices in ASU recruitment. Each event will provide a spotlight on our majors and student organizations, discuss special program recruitment and learn about current research. All recruiters welcome! (FREE)

13. Join our Employer Advisory Board
The Employer Advisory Board partners employers and Fulton Schools Career Center to discuss updates in hiring, recruitment, student preparation and company interests. The Employer Advisory Board is a great opportunity to support our ongoing outreach efforts and work with a group of like-minded people to enhance the lives of our diverse student population at ASU. (FREE)
